About Us

Oregon Early Learning Resources Platform

The Oregon Early Learning Resources Platform is managed by The Research Institute (TRI) at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. TRI’s Center on Early Learning Support and Innovation (CELSI) also administers Spark, Oregon’s Quality Recognition and Improvement System, to support continuous quality improvement in early learning programs across the state. Funded by Oregon’s Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC), the platform serves as a support resource for Spark participants. To maximize its impact, membership has been expanded beyond Spark participants to include all early learning programs, coaches, and partners within the early learning system, fostering overall program quality statewide.

Platform funding ensures that user accounts are available at no cost; however, we have not secured the resources needed for a fully customized site. As a result, while users have access to valuable national resources, customization is limited. A fully customized platform would allow us to add unique, state-specific content and resources tailored to Oregon’s early learning community, including tools that support state initiatives and requirements. It would also unlock additional features, particularly those beneficial for family child care homes. TRI welcomes conversations with organizations and stakeholders interested in expanding the platform’s capabilities to better serve Oregon’s early learning programs.
